Where do you stand on the Spork issue

I got in an argument with Shannon on Thursday and almost ended up walking out of the Taco Bell. Here is Shannon's view on the Spork: "Shitty spoon, Shitty fork". I however feel this is oversimplifying things. For such food items as mashed potatos, or macaroni and cheese where you aren't sure whether a spoon or fork would be better the spork is just about as good as it gets. Furthermore I feel the combination spoon/fork is just the first step in a futuristic wave of product combination. Someday we will have bags made out of Plastic and Paper at the same time, Ketchup in mustard in the same bottle, and maybe even Radio/Bananas. And we will have the inventor of the Spork to thank for all this.
